Ready to accomplish a huge spiritual goal? This challenge will wake up your faith. You’ll view the Bible – and God – in a whole new way. Power Reading the Bible is life-changing and doable – if you have a simple plan and know what to look for along the way.
What is Power Reading? Power reading is a fast paced approach to reading (or listening to) scriptures.
Bible study has its benefits. But, sadly, deep-dive study actually keeps many people from seeing the greater story – and their place in the story. By focusing on certain big picture themes, comprehension happens surprisingly naturally, even when your reading pace is outside the comfort zone. People at all levels of Bible-familiarity find success with Power Reading. You don’t need a random one-year plan. In fact, we’ve found it’s actually more difficult (and less helpful) to try a 365-day plan.
Why Power Reading works: We need Big Goals: Many (including me) have failed the 365-day reading plan simply because the goal is too easy. The 60-day format will challenge you – in a positive way. We need the Big Picture: Power Reading is a hurry-up style of reading and we simply don’t worry about what we don’t understand. This sounds strange but it works. You will comprehend more than you think. We need Grace: This type is a grace-filled journey. There is no homework, no studying, no scripture memory. Just read. And if you get behind, that’s okay.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
